When someone comes to Emerge we first have a consultation session. The purpose of the consultation is to get a good picture of what difficulties the person is experiencing and to decide if we can genuinely help them. The cost of this is €25 per hour.

If after the initial consultation, the counsellor and the person are happy to work together for a period, then the cost of each of these one hour sessions is €35 per hour. The person can often find benefit from six to eight sessions

We are happy to be able to offer day, evening and weekend appointments.

We reserve a limited number of appointment places for people in need of counselling who maybe unable to pay. If these places are full you may have to enter a waiting list.
